How to take part
1. Register for Edufest
The accompanying teacher signs in with Google and registers the school contingent. Student entry is free.
2. Form a team
In the School Panel, select four students from the same school and category for one ForceNinja team entry.
3. Complete team details
Add each member's date of birth and class, teacher and emergency contacts, confidential health needs and the integrity declaration.
4. Race on the day
Check in, attend the compulsory briefing, collect your route card and race through five stations together.
Race format
- One lap through five stations in a fixed order; teams are released in waves and judged separately by category.
- 30 minutes net time limit — official waiting time is excluded. Time stops when the last member crosses the finish with the route card.
- All four members take part, move together and finish together.
- Equipment, route cards, bib numbers and timers are provided. Wear modest sportswear, closed shoes and your bib; ceremonial uniform is not required.
- Safe training gear and situation cards only — no high climbing, heavy loads, weapons, fire, combat contact or medical procedures on participants.
Stations & marks
Each station has four check items worth 5 marks each — no discretionary marks. Net score = station total − penalties (minimum 0). Highest net score wins; fastest net time breaks ties, then the safety station, then the aid station; otherwise places are shared.
Integrity & penalties
- Missed station: 0. Confirmed outside help or shortcut: −10 each. Early start: stopped, restarted and −5.
- Over the time limit or incomplete team: DNF and not ranked. Impersonation, falsified records or endangering others may lead to disqualification.
- No phones, smartwatches, communication devices or answer notes during the race. AI may be used for general learning beforehand only.
- Teachers and supporters stay in designated areas; cheering is fine, but no hints, touching equipment or helping with tasks. Only marshals record or correct results.
- Provisional results are displayed first; teachers may lodge a written appeal with evidence within 15 minutes.
